If you however still have any questions then feel free to contact Heidi or Micke!
Church
We're getting married in Gårdstånga Kyrka. This church was built in the 10th century. The ceremony starts at 16:00.
WEDDING DETAILS
Lodging
♥ We have a special discount for the wedding guests at the E&E Hotel in Osby if you book a room before 1st of August. When booking just tell them it's for Heidi & Micke's wedding. From there we will arrange for transport by bus to and from the wedding in Eslöv. The bus departs at 14:00 from outside the hotel! After that the bus takes you from the church to the castle and thereafter back to the hotel when the party is over. For those that would like to stay at this hotel please email info@storahotelletosby.com.
Read more about E&E Stora Hotellet in Osby here >>
For anyone who will arrive some days before the wedding or stay for Sunday as well this is the best choice since you'll be close to us and this is also where the Sunday brunch will be held.
There are also a couple of places to choose from around Trollenäs.
♥ There's a cute bed & breakfast only 2km from the castle, it's called B&B Ströprodukter. They can be emailed at info@stroprodukter.se.
♥ 6 km from the castle is Hotell Stensson, in central Eslöv. They can be contacted at info@hotelstensson.se.
♥ 20 minutes away from Trollenäs Slott by taxi is Örenäs Slott. A beautiful castle in Landskrona.
♥ About 8km from the castle is Brink Hotell, a price worthy hotel in Eslöv. They can be contacted at info@brinkhotell.se.
Party
The wedding reception will take place in a castle built in 1559 called Trollenäs Slott following the ceremony.
Find your way
If you're flying to Sweden then the closest airport is Copenhagen in Denmark. Upon landing at Kastrup airport there's direct connection to the train that leads straight to Osby. There's machines where you can buy train tickets and you want to take the Öresund train towards Kalmar. They go at least once an hour. The train ride is 1 hour and 47 minutes. If you're staying at E&E Stora Hotellet in Osby the hotell is located right across the street from the train station.
For the wedding on the 3rd of September we have arranged busses to take you to the wedding and back to Osby from that hotel.
Practical info
Speeches
Do you want to say something on our wedding? We would be delighted! Please contact the toast madame to announce your speach by filling in the form below or send her an email at jinnkarlsson@gmail.com

I would like to give a speech:

Dress code
Semiformal attire. According to Martha Stewart a semiformal dress code means that a dark suit with a white shirt and conservative tie is suitable for men. For the ladies, a cocktail dress or a long, dressy skirt with a top are suitable. However we don't mind if men spice it up with other coloured shirts ;D We personally just want people to dress up, no need to hire a tuxedo! There are however a few traditional "rules" for wedding dress codes in Sweden. For example, it is not appropriate for women to dress in red, white or black.
Children
As this is an evening event, and we want our guests to be able to kick back and enjoy, children are left at home. If you are having trouble finding a babysitter then please contact Heidi.
Gifts
We are so happy that you will take part of our special day and we don't require anyone to bring gifts. If you however really want to get us something then we have made a list of things we might need, it can be found here >>

Pictures
We have hired a photographer during the whole day and would appreciate if nobody else took photos during the ceremony in the church. However feel free to bring your cameras if you want to take pictures after the church :) If you post anything related to the wedding on social media then please use the hashtag #HeidiMicke2016 so we can see it!
